Check every Printify order before it goes to production
A shirt printed in one country from a blank sewn in another can cost your customer more at the border than the shirt itself. Othermile holds each new Printify order, prices every way to make and ship it, and sends it to production when it passes or when you say so.

On Printify
How it works
Connect Printify
Create a free account, open Connections and connect Printify with a key you make in Printify. Your products come across with suggested tariff codes.
Confirm where your blanks are made
Customs looks at where a garment was sewn, not where it was printed. Confirm the country for each product once and every estimate uses it.
Approve before production
By default every order waits for your OK, with each print provider and shipping option priced. Approve and it goes to production.

What you get
Built for Printify stores
Every route priced
Your usual print provider, a backup printer, mail or courier: each shows what you pay, what your customer may pay at the door and what is left for you.
Changed while it waited
Swap a design or print provider in Printify while an order waits, and Othermile checks it again with the new numbers before it goes ahead.
Where it is really made
Tariffs follow the country a blank was sewn in. Othermile keeps that country per product, so a shirt from Honduras is priced as one.
A record of every decision
Each approval is signed and kept, with what was known, which option you chose and when.
Try it on your own orders first
The free border cost audit reads your Printify orders file and shows what your customers paid at the door, by product and by province or state. No account, and your file stays in your browser.
Guides
Border guides for Printify sellers
What will my Canadian customer pay on a Printify or Printful order?
It depends on where the order is printed, where the blank was made, how it ships and the order value. Here is how to work it out, and how to keep it at zero.
Print on demand across the border: where it is made matters more than where it ships from
A shirt sewn in Honduras and printed in North Carolina is usually still a Honduran shirt at the border. Why origin decides duty, CUSMA and tariffs, and where to find it for your products.

Questions
Othermile and Printify
Do I have to approve every order?
Only if you want to. Asking before every order is on by default for printers; untick it on the Printify card in Connections and orders that fit your limits go to production on their own.
Why does the country of the blank matter?
Duty and tariffs follow where a product was made. For clothing that is where it was sewn, so a blank made in Asia and printed in the US is still an Asian product at the border.
Can Othermile change the print provider for me?
Printify's API cannot move an existing order to another provider, so Othermile tells you which one to switch to and checks the order again once you do.
Is this customs advice?
No. Every figure is an estimate from the official rules in force, with its source and date. The carrier and customs decide the final charge.
